The Shree Siddhivinayak temple began in 1801. Laxman Vithu and Deubai Patil built it in Mumbai. The temple follows Hindu design rules. It keeps a natural Ganesha idol inside. This idol has a trunk bent to the right. The idol’s right-bent trunk is known as ‘Unmatta Lakshmi’ and is believed to bring prosperity.

Devotees can use Dadar Station. It lies 1.5 km from the temple. From there visitors can take taxis or autos. The ride takes five minutes. Prabhadevi Station operates on the Western line. It stands 500 metres away. Devotees walk ten minutes. Both stations connect well.
